The real criterion: the brush, not the pascals
Here is what nobody tells you while selling you 40,000 Pa.
A very powerful robot vacuums hair very well. It sends it into the main brush, where it wraps around the axle. After a few days, the brush is caught in a compact sleeve of hair; it no longer turns freely, suction collapses, and you have to take it apart with scissors.
The result: you bought a robot so you would not have to deal with it, and you spend ten minutes a week dismantling it. The robot costs you time instead of saving it.

Mistakes to avoid
Buying on the suction figure. A 42,000 Pa robot without an anti-tangle brush will be worse, day to day, than a 25,000 Pa robot that has one. Look at the "Main brush" line before the "Suction" line.
Forgetting the station. With a pet, the bin fills up fast. A station with automatic emptying and a 3.2 L bag means two months of peace instead of emptying every three days. Every model mentioned here has one.
Neglecting maintenance anyway. No brush is 100% anti-tangle with long hair. Expect one clean a week, even on the best models — that is five times less than with a conventional brush, but it is not zero.

Do Dreame robots handle litter and spilled kibble?
Large debris such as kibble passes without difficulty. However, no robot should ever be sent over animal mess: Dreame’s AI obstacle detection avoids it in most cases, but that is not a guarantee. Keep the robot out of risky rooms when you are away for a long time.
How often should the brush be cleaned with a pet?
