Dreame Aqua10 Roller: review and verdict

The Dreame Aqua10 Roller is the entry point of the Aqua series: the same continuously rinsed AquaRoll roller as the Complete versions, for 699 €, with a less equipped station. It is the series' bet, without its maximum convenience.
The verdict in short
8.6/10. On paper, the Aqua10 Roller keeps the essence of what makes the series interesting: the mopping roller, rinsed as it goes, which never spreads dirty water back around — unlike a conventional spinning mop. What disappears compared with the Ultra Roller Complete is day-to-day convenience: no anti-matting FluffRoll, no dual detergent, and above all a station you have to top up by hand. The trade-off is clear, and at 100 € less than the Complete, it is justified for anyone who does not need to forget about the robot for weeks on end.
✓ Pros
- AquaRoll roller rinsed continuously, identical to the series’ Complete versions
- 30,000 Pa of suction — on a par with the Ultra models, not a cut-down machine
- HyperStream dual detangling brush, useful even on hairy hard floors
- 100 € less than the Ultra Roller Complete for the same core technology
✕ Cons
- No automatic refilling: the station is topped up by hand with water and detergent
- Navigation limited to a simple laser distance sensor, without VersaLift or a camera
- No FluffRoll: the roller alone is in theory more exposed to matting over time
Who is it for?
Households with hard floors who want the essence of roller mopping technology without paying for the station's maximum convenience — and who accept topping up water and detergent by hand from time to time.
Avoid it if…
You are looking to forget about the robot for weeks: without automatic refilling, the station demands regular attention. In that case, the Ultra Roller Complete's extra 100 € is justified.

Against the Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete (799 €), the gap comes down almost entirely to the station: automatic refilling, FluffRoll and dual detergent on top, for 100 € more. If day-to-day convenience matters, that supplement is a good call; if budget comes first and topping the station up once a week does not bother you, the Aqua10 Roller does the same mopping job for less. Against the L50s Pro Ultra (749 €), the question changes in nature: it is a choice between suction on carpets (the L50s) and continuous mopping on hard floors (the Aqua10 Roller), not a matter of budget.
Maintenance and consumables
The AquaRoll roller is the machine's central wear part, to be watched and replaced periodically — Dreame does not yet disclose an official replacement frequency or cost. Without automatic refilling, you have to top up the clean water tank and the detergent by hand, on top of emptying the 220 mL dust bin. That is the main maintenance gesture separating this model from the series' Complete versions.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Dreame Aqua10 Roller and the Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete?
The AquaRoll roller and its continuous rinsing are identical on both models. The Ultra Roller Complete (799 €) adds the anti-matting FluffRoll, dual detergent, and above all automatic station refilling — which the Aqua10 Roller at 699 € does not have.
Does the Dreame Aqua10 Roller have an automatic refilling station?
No. Its station handles emptying, roller washing and drying, but not automatic refilling with clean water or detergent — you have to top the station up by hand, unlike the Ultra Roller Complete.
Is 699 € a good price for the Aqua10 Roller?
Yes, provided you accept topping up the station by hand. The AquaRoll roller and the 30,000 Pa of suction, which are the core of the series’ technical case, are identical to the pricier Complete models.
Is the Dreame Aqua10 Roller suitable for pets?
For picking up hair on hard floors, yes: 30,000 Pa and a HyperStream dual detangling brush. On thick carpets covered in hair, however, a robot with liftable mops such as the L50s Pro Ultra remains better suited than any roller model.
